Our Programmes
Our programmes create practical environments where connection develops through shared activity, supportive relationships and community.
Some people join our work through men’s groups such as Dough Bro’s. Others engage through youth programmes or employability opportunities connected to our Pizza Pirates social enterprise.
While many of our programmes focus on supporting men and boys, our work also creates opportunities for young people who struggle in traditional education environments to build confidence, skills and a sense of purpose.

Youth Engagement and Development
Our youth programmes help young people build confidence, connection and practical life skills through shared activity and supportive environments.
Many of the young people we work with have struggled in traditional education settings, including those in alternative provision or with additional needs. Our programmes create structured environments where they can develop practical skills, experience success and build confidence for the future.
-

Employability and Experience
Through our Pizza Pirates social enterprise and related projects, participants gain hands-on experience in supportive working environments.
These opportunities help young people develop practical skills, teamwork and confidence while experiencing what a positive workplace culture looks like.

Men's Programmes and Community
Our men’s programmes create welcoming spaces where men can connect, reflect and support one another in environments built on trust, authenticity and psychological safety.
Programmes such as Dough Bro’s and Ageless Man bring men together through shared activity, conversation and community, allowing friendships and supportive peer networks to develop naturally.
Featured Programme
Dough Bro’s
Connect, cook and share good food with other men.
Dough Bro’s is an innovative wellbeing programme that brings men together through pizza-making, conversation and shared food.
Many men don’t often have spaces where they can talk openly about what’s going on in their lives. In our experience, conversation develops much more naturally when men are doing something practical together, rather than sitting in a room being asked to talk.
Dough Bro’s is a relaxed and welcoming environment where men can cook, share food and spend time together. The activity breaks down barriers and allows conversations to develop naturally. There is never any pressure to speak — men talk when they want to, about what they want.
Our facilitators create a space built on trust, authenticity and psychological safety. Men are encouraged to speak honestly, avoid hiding behind banter and treat themselves and others with kindness.
What to Expect
• Making hand-stretched pizzas together
• Sharing food and conversation
• A relaxed and welcoming group of men
• No pressure to talk — join in at your own pace
• Most men come along on their own the first time
Since 2022 we have worked with more than 250 men, with groups typically bringing together 8–15 participants at a time. Feedback consistently highlights the value men place on the welcoming atmosphere, the shared activity and the opportunity to connect with others.
